As per the Industrial Policy, Government of Karnataka, for the Jewargi taluka, stamp duty is 100% exempted, whereas registration charges are Re 1 for Rs 1000.

Jewargi Agro Food Park is a joint venture project with State Government and the project is approved by the Government of Karnataka through HLSWCC. The industrial land is allotted on a Single Unit Complex (SUC) basis by KIADB (Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board), Government of Karnataka.

Jewargi Agro Food Park, having experience in agro-food value chain and infrastructure projects, has a pivotal role in developing an organized state-of-the-art industrial area with basic and advanced common facilities like roads, water, power, STP, ETP, laboratories, security, and residential quarters. Jewargi Agro Food Park provides Laisoning facilities with the government, bankers, and other stakeholders in supporting and assisting entrepreneurs to setup industries.

We are a Government of India notified Food Park. Land is transferred to the company under SUC norms from KIADB, State Government. And the location is well connected by Road and rail, on NH 50, Mumbai Bangalore National Highway, and major projects coming under Gati Shakti Project of Government. It provides all necessary common facilities, amenities, incentives and benefits from Central and State Government.

The park provides developed plots of various sizes, starting from 10000 SFT and extending to larger contiguous areas tailored to your specific requirements.

As per the KIADB guidelines, the industrial land will be allotted on a 3 year sub lease cum sale, post commercial commencement and operation of 3 years, eligible for a sale deed, upon meeting the compliances.

The sublease cum sale agreement attracts 18% GST on the registered amount payable.

Most of the nationalized banks, like Union Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and a private bank, viz., Axis Bank, have approved project funding till date. 10 Industries are already operating since 10 years and 6 more are under construction stage having availed loans from Nationalized banks.

Industries have to pay common maintenance charges towards management, security, housekeeping, maintenance of roads, drains, common facilities and others from the time of registration of Sub-lease-cum-sale agreement. The charges are payable on monthly, quarterly or even annual basis. And all dues needs to be cleared at the time of obtaining Absolute Saledeed.

Staff quarters, weigh bridge, water supply, effluent and sewage treatment plant, warehouse, food grading and packaging, coldstorage, fruit Ripening, quality control laboratory, and other common facilities are available on a chargeable basis.

Both state and central governments are offering incentives and benefits depending on the project type, investment, and sector-specific. That apart, being a Nationally developed Project, it falls in line with the progressive de
velopmental plans of the Government such as Gati Shakti Program, I2U2 Program, PMFME, Agri Infrastructure funds scheme, etc.

Minor Millets, Maize, Pulses, Coconut, Groundnut, Paddy, Pomegranate, Banana, Sugarcane, and major other crops, as the Industrial Park is centrally located in the State, with less than 100kms proximity to all Districts.

Depending on the type of the project, the approval varies; however, the following approvals are mandatory: Panchyathi NOC, project approval, building plan approval from KIADB, completion certificate from Company and KIADB, CFE/CFO from Pollution Control Board, Weights and measures approval, FSSAI and BESCOM approval.
